Zucchini Fry

Zucchini Fry: 

Simple tasty dish for veggy guys. Its very easy to make with minimum ingredients. Its a food which is fat & has very less cholesterol.  So have a mouth watering recipe specially made for calorie conscious people. You will get this & such more recipes at finecooking4u.



 Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 big zucchini
  • Wheat flour (refined)
  • Salt and Salt to taste
  • 4 tsp olive oil

Preparation :

Cut big zucchini into middle size long pieces. Apply salt to the long pieces and keep it as it for atleast 30 minutes. After 30 min remove excess of water from zucchini. Take a pan pour olive oil which gives a good taste to the dish. Add zucchini pieces into wheat flour and shallow fry it on pan for about 5-10min.
Remove the cooked zucchini and serve hot with tomato sauce.

ChinaTown Noodles

Ingredients (Serves 5)

  • 250 gm plain noodles, boiled according to the directions on the package
  • 250 gm egg noodles boiled according to the directions on the package
  • 1 kg minced meat / mutton or keema
  • 100 gm minced onions
  • 6 flakes minced garlic
  • 1 inch piece minced ginger
  • 100 gm tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups meat / mutton or keema stock
  • 1 tbsp sugar, optional
  • 2 tsp cornflour mixed in 1/2 cup water
  • Chopped parsley


Preparation :

ChinaTown Noodles
Place both the noodles together in a deep dish. Heat 5 tbsp oil and fry onion, ginger and garlic till soft. Add meat / mutton or keema and cook until  it comes brown nicely. Add tomatoes, stock, sugar and seasonings. Cook till meat / mutton or keema is done. Add cornflour and cook till thick. Put over the noodles and decorate with parsley.

Lamb Chow Mein Noodles

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 500 gm egg noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups boneless meat / mutton, cut into thin slices against the grain
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded french beans
  • 4 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp cornflour, dissolved in 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ajino motto
  • 1/2 cup celery heart, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation :

Lamb Chow Mein Noodles
Boil noodles according to the directions on the package.Heat 4 tbsp oil and cook meat / mutton till brown and tender. Drain, add a little more oil  and fry all the vegetables like bean sprouts, thinly slice mushrooms, french beans, green onion, sliced celery heart, ajino motto, salt , pepper according to taste.Fry these vegetables for 3 minutes. Mix in the lamb, spices and cornflour. Cook till gravy is thick. Serve over noodles.

Pepper Chicken

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 fresh tender chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 2 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp ground pepper

Preparation :

Pepper Chicken
Sprinkle pepper on chicken pieces and rub well. Rub in the remaining ingredients like chicken, soya sauce, sugar and cornflour and set aside for 1 hour. Deep fry the chicken pieces till crisp and golden brown. Serve hot.


Turnip Patties Dessert

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups sliced turnips, cooked and minced
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 50 gm prawns, cooked and minced
  • 50 gm mushrooms, cooked and minced
  • 4 slices crisp bacon, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 beaten eggs

Preparation :

Turnip Patties Dessert
Combine sliced turnips, rice flour, green onions, chopped parsley, cooked and minced prawns, cooked and minced mushrooms, crisp bacon, salt, pepper and oil together with exception of eggs. Put in a greased pan and steam for 1 hour.Cool and cut in diamond shapes. Take 2 beaten eggs and mix in 2 tbsp cornflour, dip the diamond pieces into the eggs and deep fry to a golden color. Serve hot.

Noodle Soup

Ingredients (Serves 4) 

  • 250 gm egg noodles, boiled according the the directions on the package
  • 500 gm mixed  vegetables like cabbage, peas, tomatoes and carrots
  • 2 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seed or til oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation :

Noodle Soup
Boil the vegetables (cabbage, peas, tomatoes and carrots) in 1 liter water till soft. Mash and pass through a sieve. Mix noodles with soya sauce, salt and pepper and oil and divide equally amongst soup bowls.Pour the hot vegetable soup on top and serve at once.

Fried Oysters



Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups chopped oysters
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onion
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tbsp refined flour
  • 1 green chilli, minced
  • A few parsley leaves
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation :

Fried Oysters
Mix together chopped oysters, chopped green onion, eggs, green chilli, parsley leaves, baking powder, salt and pepper. Form into small balls and deep fry to a golden color. Serve with ketchup.
