Turnip Patties Dessert

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 2 cups sliced turnips, cooked and minced
  • 1/2 cup rice flour
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 50 gm prawns, cooked and minced
  • 50 gm mushrooms, cooked and minced
  • 4 slices crisp bacon, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 beaten eggs

Preparation :

Turnip Patties Dessert
Combine sliced turnips, rice flour, green onions, chopped parsley, cooked and minced prawns, cooked and minced mushrooms, crisp bacon, salt, pepper and oil together with exception of eggs. Put in a greased pan and steam for 1 hour.Cool and cut in diamond shapes. Take 2 beaten eggs and mix in 2 tbsp cornflour, dip the diamond pieces into the eggs and deep fry to a golden color. Serve hot.
