Lamb Chow Mein Noodles

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 500 gm egg noodles
  • 1 1/2 cups boneless meat / mutton, cut into thin slices against the grain
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup shredded french beans
  • 4 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp cornflour, dissolved in 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp ajino motto
  • 1/2 cup celery heart, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Preparation :

Lamb Chow Mein Noodles
Boil noodles according to the directions on the package.Heat 4 tbsp oil and cook meat / mutton till brown and tender. Drain, add a little more oil  and fry all the vegetables like bean sprouts, thinly slice mushrooms, french beans, green onion, sliced celery heart, ajino motto, salt , pepper according to taste.Fry these vegetables for 3 minutes. Mix in the lamb, spices and cornflour. Cook till gravy is thick. Serve over noodles.
