Prawns Chilli

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 250 gm king-size prawns
  • 2 green onions, shredded
  • 8 chillies, seeded and slitted
  • 1 inch piece ginger, shredded
  • 1 tbsp brandy
  • 2 tbsp cornflour mixed with 2 beaten egg whites
  • 1 tbsp, vinegar
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A few parsley leaves
  • 2 flakes garlic

Preparation :

Prawns Chilli
Mix together sugar, sauce, salt and vinegar. Mix prawns with brandy and cornflour mixture. Deep fry the prawns and remove to a plate. Heat 3 tbsp oil and fry ginger, onion, chillies and 2 flakes crushed garlic, when fragrant, put in the prawns along with vinegar mixture, heat thoroughly and serve hot.
